The University of Toronto St George campus is huge, but walkable.
However, being situated in one of the largest cities in North America, Toronto’s transit system has no choice but to run underneath the institution. This does make for some pretty noisy lecture halls (OISE and Mech Eng, I’m looking at you), but it also makes getting to class that much easier when you don’t fancy a 10-15 minute walk when it’s 20 below freezing. I decided to use my $3 not to get from point A to B, but rather to go to each subway station underneath campus, and these are the results of this little underground adventure. All photos taken on my iPhone 5s.
