Farah is in her second year of studies in Architecture and Italian. A passionate reader and writer, Farah is interested in the interplay between the built environment and society, and how it affects the people in it. You can reach her at [email protected].

BlogUT will be forever indebted to the hard work of our past editors. We would not be who we are today without the ongoing effort they have put into the blog. Thank you!

Ally joined blogUT as a Junior Editor in 2010 before becoming a Co-Editor the following year.  After completing her undergraduate degree in English and Film Studies, she now works at Warner Bros. Canada in Toronto. A movie buff and blogger, she enjoys watching films and Friends reruns on TV, reading books, blogging, editing short videos, and taking pictures.  Currently, she is addicted to Twitter, Pinterest, and StumbleUpon.

Lois started out as a writer in 2007 and was a Co-Editor from 2008 to 2011. She wrote about everything from Makeout Spots to movie reviews. In 2012, she completed her undergrad with a degree in Math and Computer Science. Lori is currently a developer at a green energy company in California.

Justine Abigail Yu’s journey with blogUT started slowly- first as an avid reader, then a timid writer, and then finally as Co-Editor from 2009 to 2011.  Editing blogUT’s amazing blog posts and tweeting with other U of T students who were also cramming has really helped her keep her sanity and humour. Now she’s off doing other social media things with various businesses and non-profit organizations while squeezing in a trip to some foreign land here and there. Follow her at @justineabigail.

Alex was a staff writer for blogUT from its inception in 2007 until she graduated in 2011, writing film, theatre, and jazz reviews. From 2010 to 2011, Alex was co-editor for BlogUT while finishing her degree in Engineering Science. Alex is completing her PhD in Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University. She writes film, theatre, and jazz reviews for the Stanford Daily.

Julia was a Co-Editor in 2008-2009, and continued to write for blogUT for several years afterwards. Her articles spanned from updates on events around campus to guides to Toronto’s most distinctive neighbourhoods. She is currently working on a PhD at the University of Cambridge, and runs a medieval outreach blog, Things Medieval.

BlogUT was founded in 2007 after JP felt his U of T experience was lacking. Feeling disconnected from student life, his hope was that blogUT would serve as a hub for students to keep in touch with interesting things going on around campus to help them have more fun. JP did his undergrad in Engineering Science and a Masters in Electrical Engineering. Find him on Twitter.
