The dialog made me cringe, the characterizations seemed completely stilted and false, the music incongruent. I was interested in seeing the film because Daniel Auteuil is one of my favorite actors and, in fact, he does an admirable job trying to keep this mess afloat. But in the end it is only remarkable for the scenery. Skip it!
