Come check out this year’s annual photo exhibit at the Allen Lambert Galleria. World Press Photo is an independent, non-profit organization that saw its beginnings in the Netherlands in 1955. Throughout the decades it has supported the work of professional press photographers. The organization holds an annual contest in which the prizewinning photographs form a travelling exhibit through over forty-five countries. If you are interested in the happenings around the world as well as the art of photography, watch as the two are conflated into one stunning exhibit. In addition, Saturday afternoons offer informal talks, free of charge, where people can express their thoughts and insights.
