It’s Tax Return Season Again!

So, it’s that time of the year again, and if you’re like me, you’re likely putting off your tax return… (unless you’re one of the lucky ones and someone else has already done it for you). But you know what, it isn’t actually that painful. This year, I actually managed to do my tax return within about an hour, and get $500 back. (Best hour ever!)
How’d I do that? Well, you can file your taxes online for FREE (if you’re a student) using UFILE.CA. Be sure to do it before April 30th to get the free service. Also, a tax tip: if you pay rent, be sure to claim that in your tax return. Made a big difference for me!

You can also use the free StudioTax program to NetFile if you have that set up. I’ve been using it the last three years and it was extremely easy.
