Green Drinks Toronto organises a night of pubbing every month where like minded Ayn Rand enthusiasts and Militant Capitalists can meet to relax and exploit the environment in peace. Nah, just kidding. The crowd is a granola crunching, birkenstock wearing bunch with a share of young professionals to balance out the truly kooky. The one thing you will admit is that these people are genuinely friendly and willing to talk to you, a complete stranger. Whether or not you want to hear about a multi-purpose social activism t-shirt with the five hottest issues emblazoned on the front and back is up to you.
Nights in Toronto happen at the Bedford Academy (36 Prince Arthur Ave), a plucky little pub around the corner from the St. George subway station, every third Wednesday of the month after work (starting at 5:45 pm). Check out the next one on the 21st of February. Bring a friend and enjoy a new excuse to hang out and drink beer. Prost!
