Cuban Jazz Pianist Hilario Duran Plays Hart House this Friday!

If you’re a jazz fan then this is your chance to check out a world-class jazz pianist! The Hart House Music Committee and CIUT present two-time Juno Award winning Jazz pianist Hilario Duran in his premier performance at Jazz at Oscars.
Hilario Duran, a pianist, composer, bandleader and arranger is one of the greatest virtuoso Jazz pianists to emerge from Havana, Cuba. He was a member of Arturo Sandoval’s band for nine years and toured at major Jazz Festivals around the world, sharing stages with legendary musicians such as the late Dizzy Gillespie, and composer/arranger Michael Legrand. He exquisitely combines Cuban jazz with his mastery of the piano, giving a flawless and exciting performance. For this performance, he will be joined by renowned Toronto Jazz musicians Roberto Occhipinti on Bass and Mark Kelso on Drums.
