Nausicaa

Hart House, along with the Environmental Student’s Union bring you a free showing of a Studio Ghibli (the same guys who made Princess Mononoke and Howl’s Moving Castle) classic, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind.

Although it’s a little dated (released in 1984), this is a beautiful film, from the animation, to the characters, to the story. I give it my personal recommendation as my favourite Studio Ghibli production.

When: Wed. Mar. 5, 2008. Doors at 6:30. Film at 6:45pm
Where: Hart House Arbor Room. “Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind”.
Details: Free, and Refreshments provided.

Cool! I’m not sure if I’m actually able to go - but it sounds super awesome.

(p.s. still working on that Be Kind Rewind review… Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten)
