UrbanPromise Toronto, a Christian non-profit charitable organization helping children, youth, and their families in at-risk communities across the GTA, presents “The Bride”:

Sounds a little preachy, but I think it’s a great cause. If the musical is as well put together as their website, then we’re in for a treat. Strangely, the (hideously ill designed) Isabel Bader Theatre website does not have this on their event listings. What’s up with that?

When: Thursday May 3rd - Sunday May 6th
Where: The Isabel Bader Theatre (93 Charles Street West)
Details: Tickets $18-$25. For more info, check the website.

As an employee of the Isabel Bader Theatre, all I can do is ask you to not hate on our website. We have a whole ton of events in the theatre that aren’t on the website, but I confirm that, for sure, The Bride is in right now (I worked it today and yesterday for their dress rehearsal). From what I’ve seen so far, it’s pretty cool, too — they brought in bus-loads (literally) of kids today into the theatre and they all really seemed to liked it a lot.

I’m still trying to figure out what all the “12/07” mean on the left column.
