About the group: They were catapulted to international fame in 1986 collaborating on the album and international tour of Paul Simon’s seminal work, Graceland. Today, led by Joseph Shabalala, Ladysmith interprets the a cappella vocal traditions of South Africa with deep bass voices blending in lush harmonies, with synchronized dance moves and the head-high kicks that are the Zulu tradition.

    Hard to choose, but the best concert I have been to was the very recent vieux Farka Toure concert.

    The best concert I have ever gone to was at Massey Hall, I saw Sigur Ros. I dont know if I am supposed to say why it was the best concert ever. I am going to leave that part out.

    Definetly switchfoot when they were at Kool Haus. They pumped the crowd up so much!

    In terms of music, the 2004 Bridge School Benefit in Mountain View. Neil Young, Paul McCarty, The Chili Peppers, Tony Bennet, etc. And all accoustic. :-)
