The Danforth Tasted… Kinda Rainy

I went to the Taste of the Danforth on Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately it was raining when I got there so there was a lot umbrella clashing and mugginess in addition to the crowdedness that always comes with street festivals.

What I was looking forward to — loukoumades! They are deep fried balls of dough soaked in honey.

There were musical and dance performances on the various stages, although all I could see was umbrellas:

Huge lineups at some booths, for meat on a stick. I notice that this line consists primarily of asian people, for some reason.

And some for Chinese food…?

It looks like the CNE.

The main course is fear? Sounds exciting. I wonder what’s for dessert.

Volleyball anyone? Guess not.

I think this garage sale will do quite well.

These zombies kind of confuse me, but then again there was a lot of other random stuff at the Danforth.

Zombies?
