She is an explorer of the world traveling to foreign lands, getting lost, and finding her way back.  Alex is in her 4th year of her undergraduate degree in Engineering Science, Majoring in Manufacturing Systems Engineering with research interests in operations research and sustainable development. In her free time, Alex enjoys spending hours in a dark room watching movies (especially Woody Allen and Steven Soderbergh films), listening to (preferably live) jazz, and blogging reviews of these movies, concerts, and albums.

 JP did his undergrad at U of T in Engineering Science and then a Master’s in Electrical Engineering. Yeah, he’s definitely an old timer. He started blogUT in 2007 after feeling that there was something lacking in his student experience: big school, tons of things going on, but he felt very disconnected from it all. His hope is that blogUT will serve as a link to U of T student life, highlighting the interesting things on campus and helping people have more fun.
